1. What is Cunning History Teacher, and what does it offer?

The Cunning History Teacher provides instant access for Monthy, Teacher and School Subscribers to over 400 engaging history teaching resources for Middle and High School, covering Ancient, Middle Ages, Modern, and IB History. Each lesson includes various activities, including research tasks, source analysis, film comprehension, interactive games, and written tasks.

For Free Subscribers, we offer 3 free classroom resources that are from our ‘Free History Lesson Plans’ page. To access this page, please click on the link via this page or at the top right-hand side of the website.

2. How do I create an account?

Step 1: Go to our Sign up to The Cunning History Teacher page.

Step 2: Choose your subscription.

Step 3: Complete the required details.

Step 4: Click on ‘Place your Order’.

You will be taken to your personalised Dashboard.  If you are a Free Subscriber, simply click on the ‘Free History Lesson Plans’ page to download your 3 resources. A tab is available at the top right-hand side of the website. If you are a Monthly, Teacher or School Subscriber, you can go to any page and download any resource of your choice.

3. I’m a Free subscriber. Why can’t I choose any 3 resources of my choice?

We used to offer this service however, we had a number of people making numerous free subscriptions and downloading a large number of resources.  As a teacher, I’m sure you can appreciate that it takes a lot of time to create a quality classroom resource, so we had to stop this offer. We hope that we have provided enough variety so that teachers can see the quality of our resources and feel confident in upgrading their Free subscription.

4. How do I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

Upgrades and downgrades can be made through your personal dashboard.

5. I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

Simply click on the link ‘Lost your password’ on the My Account login page. You’ll be asked to enter your Username or email address.  You will then receive a link to create a new password via email.

6. How do I turn off the auto-renewal for my subscription?

Go to your dashboard and click the Subscription tab on the left-hand side. Then click on Disable Auto renew. As we do not have access to our subscriber dashboards, we are unable to turn off auto-renewal for you. We ask that you do this well before your subscription is due to avoid any unwanted payments, as we do not offer refunds.

7. What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Visa and Mastercard.

8. How secure is my payment and personal information?

Payments are made through a 3rd party ‘Stripe’.  They are a secure site.  We do not hold any personal payment details on our website.  We also do not give your information to any third parties.

9. Do you offer refunds?

No. We ask all our subscribers to download the Free classroom resources to check if they are right for you and your students before making a purchase.

10. I am a Monthly subscriber and I have not downloaded all 15 resources within the month. Can I get a partial refund, extend my subscription or have you send me resources via email?

No. Our Monthly subscription is 15 resources or less. We ask Monthly subscribers to ensure they have downloaded all the resources they would like before their subscription expires.

11. How can I contact customer service for more help?
