The Mussolini Debate Group Activity focuses on Mussolini’s domestic policies. The key feature of this lesson is having students consolidate what they have learnt in class and further research. It is argued that debate is a valuable learning activity for students of all skill levels. Debate teaches students useful skills for other academic pursuits and life in general. Debating builds confidence in public speaking and provides a practical activity where students can express their ideas to give a strong, clear message. A group Kahoot! is also included to reinforce learning.
