This Ancient World Heritage Sites Research Task focuses on introducing students to world heritage sites from around the world. The focus of this lesson plan is to give students the opportunity of which site they would like to research from the UNESCO World Heritage Sites List. This is an inquiry-based learning opportunity which allows students to explain why their chosen site is important and should be preserved and conserved for future generations once they have completed their research. This lesson is suitable for face-to-face learning or an online learning environment.
